You may have been called because SACU's debit card processor monitors debit card activity with eNFACT, a way to detect possible fraud. Changes in your spending pattern may trigger a call. For instance, purchases made outside your "normal" purchasing area or that are larger than purchases you usually make may trigger a call. This monitoring can provide peace of mind and fraud protection for you.

eNFACT, a neural network
eNFACT uses a neural network to automatically "score" a card's usage activity, based on routine daily debit card use and direct reports from cardholders. A high score on a debit card may show increased likelihood that fraud is occurring on an account. eNFACT will leave a message for you, asking you to confirm that the transactions are authorized.

•   Be sure to update your contact information so that SACU's database will include your current mailing address and a telephone number where you can be most easily contacted by eNFACT, if needed, to verify recent transactions or accept/refute any questionable transactions.
